Approach #3: Produce One Such Solution (And Don’t Stop There)

Is such a solution possible? As one data point, ActionMap has built an online interactive software product that we believe is capable of satisfying all of the criteria listed above. The solution is called the ActionMap Toolkit. It’s based on flip chart procedures that have been proven in hundreds of sessions with companies like HP, Chevron and Hunt-Wesson, on projects ranging from business transformations to detailed designs. Sessions regularly replace weeks of meetings with a matter of hours of Toolkit use.

We’ve recently completed an extended development phase in which we’ve:
  -  written three books that provide motivation, training and application guidance for the ActionMap Toolkit, and
  -  translated the procedures into software.

Right now we’re in a ”semi-stealth” mode, demonstrating the Toolkit to qualified prospective customers, partners and investors. Initial feedback indicates that:
  a) the market problem (the “gap”, the “bottleneck”, the meetings, etc.) is real,
  b) there is no existing highly effective, widely distributed solution, and
  c) the software is capable of the same effectiveness as the manual procedures.
